061108 - 4th Anniversary

Wow!!! We celebrated our 4th year anniversary and we as IZAQers has done extremely well. In conjunction with our 4th anniversary, this blog is published and we will be updating our infromation on this blog starting from today. As such, I will cover our breakfast more extensive this time.

Below are our statistics for this morning.

Number of members present: 13

All that is present for today's meeting will definitely agree with me that the energy level was at it peak and personally, I could sense a sudden surge of energy within myself when I presented my Sales Manager Minutes!!!

Before we start our meeting, all members and visitors were asked to order our breakfast. Please choose one of the following:



American Breakfast (This is offered on a weekly basis)


Banana Pancake (This week's special)

Apart from the breakfast, of course coffee and tea will be served with all these white and green slip of paper on the table. If you are interested to find out how we use them, join us for a breakfast meeting. We will show you how these little pieces of paper make a bunch of working adults wake up early in the morning to attend our weekly breakfast meeting.

Soon, our president ringed the bill and we commence our meeting as proper. We followed our structure agenda closely and began with our president will make a welcoming speech and a thought of the day. After his round is done, we will proceed to our Sales Manager Minutes. Every member will be given 60 seconds to tell the audience what they do and what kind of referrals or customer they are looking for.

Visitors will be given 30 seconds to present their trade and
tell us their desired referrals

60 seconds for members and 30 seconds for non-members are not sufficient to know one another. Every week, members will take turns to do a 10 minutes presentation of their trade that followed by Question and Answer session. This week, we have Lawrence Lai, representing the gift of love in our chapter (Insurance).

We believe that generally, after this 10 minutes presentation, it may still be insufficient for members to know one another's trade. BNI encourage networking beyond our breakfast meeting where member/non-members meet up to do a more detailed conversation with one another. We call this DANCECARD.

Thereafter, we go into out more exciting moment - Referral Passing Time. After which, announcements were made and we officially close the meeting at 9.00am.
